Beyond… Human Meat

Beyond Meat, founded in 2009 in Los Angeles. The company focused on the production of imitation beef, pork, and poultry. For years, Vegans have claimed that Beyond Meat is the future to a more sustainable lifestyle for the population and as a heroic action to stop the killing of animals. Meat eaters and vegans have debated for years on which practice is not only healthier but also better for our environment. Beyond Meat has had trouble in the news in prior years, including their “Beyond Burger” in collaboration with Burger King, in which employees were grilling Beyond’s vegan patties right next to beef patties. These despicable actions caused an uproar in the vegan community due to the realization that their “vegan patties” were tainted with the grease of real beef. This week, the COO (Chief Operations Officer) Douglas Ramsey for Beyond Meat, nearly bit another man’s nose off in Arkansas. We can neither confirm or deny if Ramsey’s actions were actually a form of field testing a new product. So I’ll leave you with this point, if a man with a base salary of $500,000 a year can betray his vegan lifestyle and turn to cannibalism, how can I; a meat eating American, put down a beef burger for a vegan patty at the risk of turning into a cannibal?
